Show Legal Notices NOTICE TO WATER USERS j The following applications have been filed with the State Engineer to cnange or appropriate approp-riate water in Duchesne County, State of Utah, throughout the entire year, unless otherwise designated, all locations being from USB&M. To Change: a-1638 Ray Gill, Contract Holder, U. S. Indian Irrigation Service, Arcadia, Utah; proposes to change the place of use of 18-67 sec. ft. of a total of 33-67 sec. ft. of water right acquired by Certificate No. 1217. The water wa-ter has been diverted from May 1 to October 15 from Lakefork River at a point S. 85 deg. 35 min. E 538 ft. from NV4 Cor. Sec. 4, T3S, R3W, and used to irrigate 33 acres of land embraced em-braced within SWV4NEV4 Sec. 10, T3S, R3W. Hereafter, 18-67 sec. ft. of water will be diverted as above and used to irrigate 17-96 acres of land embraced within NWV4 Sec. 11, T3S, R3W. a-1672 R. S. Lusty, Contract Holder, U. S. Indian Irrigation Service, Fort Duchesne, Utah; proposes to change the place of use of .527 sec. ft. of water right acquired by Certificate No. 1217. The water has been diverted divert-ed from May 1 to October 15 from Lakefork River at a point S 85 deg. 35 min. E 538 ft. from NV4 Cor. Sec. 4, T3S, R3W, and used to irrigate 36.9 acres of land embraced within SEV4NE-V SEV4NE-V Sec. 28, T3S, R3W. Hereafter, Hereaf-ter, .527 sec. ft. of water will be diverted from May 1 to October 15 at a point N 80 deg. 08 min. W. 5725 ft. from SW cor. of SW-V4NEV4 SW-V4NEV4 Sec. 33, T4S, R3W, and used to irrigate 120 acres of land embraced within SEV4SEV4 Sec. 2, and Sec. 12, T3S, R3W. a-1803 Sand Wash Irrigation Co., Ioka, Utah; proposes to change the place of use of 7 sec. ft. of water right acquired by Certificate No. 2039 as amended by approved Application No. a-1485. The water has been diverted di-verted from March 15 to November Novem-ber 30 from Sand Wash at the following points: (1) N37 deg. 30 min. E 780 ft. from SV4 Cor. Sec. 25, T2S, R3W; (2) N. 105 ft. and E. 240 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 32, T2S, R2W, and used to irrigate 1192 acres of land embraced em-braced within Sees. 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and 34, T2S, R2W, and J Sec. 3, T3S, R2W. Hereafter, 7 sec. ft. of water will be diverted as above and used to irrigate 1192 acres of land embraced within Sees. 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and 34, T2S, R2W, and Sec. 3, T3S, R2W. To Appropriate: 15272 C. D. Brotherson, Boneta, Utah; 15 sec. ft. from Lake Fork River at a point S. 80 deg.v00 min. E 2250 ft. from NW cor. Sec. 27, T1S, R4W, to be conveyed by means of a ditch and pipe a distance of 9739 ft. where it will be used for power purposes in the operation of a flour and feed mill, after which it will be returned to the natural natur-al channel at a point S 68 deg, 30 min. W 755 ft. from EV4 Cor. Sec. 34, T1S, R4W. 15324 Hugh W. Gagon, Roosevelt, Utah; .14 sec. ft. for domestic purposes from a 4V-inch 4V-inch well bet. 75 and 80 ft. deep at a point N. 125 ft. and W. 912.-59 912.-59 ft. from SE Cor. Sec. 13, T2S, R2W. 15550 John M. Zupko, RFD No. 1, Roosevelt, Utah; .0223 sec. ft. for . domestic purposes from an 8-inch well bet. 300 and 700 ft. deep at a point S. 824 ft. and W. 117 ft. from NW Cor. Sec. 18, T2S, R1W. 15736 Harvey A. Pace, Boneta, Bon-eta, Utah; 1 sec. ft. for irrigation from March 15 to October 31 from seepage water from Lake Fork Western Canal at the following fol-lowing points: (1) S. 742 ft. and E. 82 ft.; (2) S. 2376 ft. and E. 664 ft.; both from NE Cor. Sec. 17. T1S. R4W. The water will be commingled and conveyed a distance of 1320 ft. where it will be used to irrigate 40 acres of land embraced within SWV4 NWM Sec. 16, and NEV4NE-Va NEV4NE-Va Sec. 17, T1S, R4W. Protests resisting the granting of any of the foregoing applications, appli-cations, with reasons therefor, must be in affidavit form, with extra copy and filed with the State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Capi-tol, Salt Lake City 1, Utah, with J a fee of $1 on or before October 7, 1944.
