He was taken to Roosevelt where he received medical care. Wednesday, while playing, Martha Gilbert, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gilbert, was seriously injured. She was turning a summersault when her twin sister, Mildred pushed her causing her to fall, breaking her neck. She was rushed to the hospital hos-pital at Roosevelt where It took Dr. Miles and Dr. Larson to set the break. We are very happy to report she is recovering as well as can be expected. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solomonson Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Coats, daughter Patsy Ann, and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Butterfield of Midvale; Mrs. Charlie Bird, Lurrine, Deon, Delaine De-laine and Mildred Bird. Miss Shirley Ross spent a few days last week visiting in Salt Lake with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Ross. Sunday morning at 10 o'clock three children were baptised, Cecil Richens, Ramona Nielson, Larry Ross. They were confirmed confirm-ed in Fast meeting Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff McKenna spent a week vacationing in Salt Lake. They returned Saturday. Two babies were blessed in Fast meeting Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Gam Gilbert named their daughter Rosalee, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Labrum named their child Susann. The Boy Scouts returned from a trip up on Petty Mountain Saturday. They report having a very enjoyable time. A. E. Call left Monday morning morn-ing for Price, where he will be employed. The family will join him before school starts. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ross and daughter, of Myton, attended church here Sunday and spent the afternoon visiting friends and relatives. Ray Gill is in the hospital in Salt Lake City where he had his knee operated on. At last report he was doing nicely. |
