Show Rflontwelfl Set For Labor Day Rodeo With plans formulated and a schedule of action packed events drawn, Montwell is smoothing off the edges in preparation for its annual Labor Day rodeo. The show which will be staged at Artesian Ar-tesian Park, nine miles northwest north-west of Roosevelt will be held on September 2, and the committees com-mittees in charge report that nothing has been left undone in an effort to make the Montwell rodeo a singular attraction. The committees responsible for staging the 1946 Montwell show are: Ray Brown and Max Nelson, rodeo; Lowell Searel, rancing; Gail Loranger, grounds; Henry Loranger, advertising and finance; Art Brown, concessions. 'The day's program will consist con-sist of horse racing, calf roping, wild cow milking, steer riding and plenty of bronc riding. Two specal features, a chariot race and a wild horse race, will climax cli-max Montwell's annual Labor Day show. Montwell boasts of one of the best arenas and corrals in the state with plenty of parking space adjacent to the grounds to accommodate the spectators. A good flowing well at the rodeo grounds makes the entire set-up unsurpassable, the show officials announce. The full program and a list of prizes will be announced later. |
