She was treated at Primary Children's Hospital with funds from Pennies by the Inch. Now, everyone is asked to participate in ihis fund-raising so that others may be helped. NOT ONLY did caring doctors doc-tors and nurses provide for Karen's physical needs but they were also mindful of her emotional needs. When it was time for Karen to leave the hospital she requested that she be allowed to stay "just a little longer." This was a time of stress for her parents. The day of Karen's surgery. Mr. Ellsworth lost his job. Their insurance in-surance policy paid 80 percent of the hospital costs. Funds from Pennies by the Inch paid the remaining 20 percent, a sum of $2,000. Karen's parents have only words of love and praise for the Primary Children's Chil-dren's Medical Center. THE PENNIES by the Inch fund raising campaign is now in full swing.
