Show West Btfl. Ardell Elliott and some other single friends just returned re-turned from a trip to Mexico. They enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the old churches and the friendliness of the people. Garth and Ruth Ann Hogan were feted on their birthdays. They are the children of Lloyd and Erma Hogan. Ruth is enjoying en-joying church school in Hawaii. The Grandparents, the Garth Hogans spend a lot of time bowling and square dancing. Mildred Bauman was hospitalized hos-pitalized for a stroke. Bea Schofield reports that now is the time for boys who are interested in summer baseball base-ball to sign up. They may contact con-tact Mrs. Schofield, secretary, or the city hall. The Frank Jensens spent two days in California, visiting with daughter Sharla in San Francisco and daughter Darla Dean in Los Angeles. Robin Peterson, a grandson, traveled with them from San Francisco to Los Angeles, making things more interesting. interest-ing. The Jensens visited with a friend, Terry Johnson in Hollywood Hol-lywood for a day. The Jensens were also happy to entertain, here in West Bountiful, cousins Richard and Sally White, from Fife, Wash. Dana Jeppson just returned from business in Denver. The Dana Jappson family went to Tremonton to attend an Easter party at Grandma Erma Summer's, Sum-mer's, Gina Mitchell attended the Golden Wedding celebration of her great uncle and aunt, Ralph and Ruth Thomson. Gina attended as a partner for her Grandmother Mary Watts. The celebration was held in the Lion House. Carol Jeppson enjoys her work as head of nursing in the Richfield Hospital. Grandma Helen Layton and granddaughter Sandi were guests of honor at a birthday party last Saturday. All members mem-bers of the family in Utah were present. Mary Ellen and husband, hus-band, the Toones are out of the state. Grandma and Grandpa Irv. Layton were honored guests, too. |
