CORI VANCE Baptist Missionary To Serve Navajos During the 1 1 a.m. service of Faith Baptist Church (the American Legion Hall, 45 W. 3rd S.) in Bountiful, Miss Cori Vance will present her work on the Navajo Reservation near Farmington, New Mexico, with her father Pastor Joe Vance bringing the morning message. A MEMBER of Grace Baptist Bap-tist Church of Salt Lake, Miss Vance will work as a summer missionary apprentice teaching in Vacation Bible Schools, ministering as a camp counselor and assisting in the construction of Adobe bricks for Indian homes and barns. A student at Anchor Christian Christ-ian Academy in Murray, Miss Vance is eagerly anticipating her working on the reservation this coming summer. "I'm looking forward to seeing many Navajos receive Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, just as I have." ELDER EGAN Elder Michael H. Egan has been called to serve in the Brazil, Bra-zil, Porto Alegre mission. He will enter the MTC on April 14. HIS FAREWELL address will be held Sunday at 1:35 p.m. in the Val Verda 9th Ward Chapel at 3350 S. 100 E. Friends and relatives are invited in-vited to visit with him at his home following the meeting, 3202 S. 75 E. Mike graduated from Woods Cross High and participated partici-pated in sports and other extra curricular activities while attending. He is the son of Mrs. Minnie Jane Egan and W. Gerald Egan. |
