Show Funeral Services for Camilla Larson Conducted Sept. 29 Very impress've funeral rites were conducted Thursday, S"pt. 29, for Camilla Larson, who died Scpt. 26, in a Salt Lake hospital. The service directed by Bishop Boyd Seeley was held at the Olpin-Sun-dberg Mortuary Chapel, began at 2 p.m. with a vocal duet "Softly and Tenderly, Jesus Is Calling" by Mrs. S. W. Hilton and Ehvood Allen, accompanied by Mrs. Max Thorne. Invocation was offered by J. L. Adams, a close friend of the fam-iiy. fam-iiy. Reminiscent sketch of Miss Larson's Lar-son's life was given by Raymond Peterson, who in behalf of the many nieces and nephews, recalled pleasant memories of Aunt Millie. Elvin Thorne, a close neighbor, paid high tribute to the memory of the departed, as to her thrift an(i honesty, her love for her neighbors and desire to help. President Lewis E. Olpin also paid tribute to the character of Miss Larson and the great esteem with which she was regarded by the Olpin family. Interspersing the speakers, Mrs. Patricia Seeley and Mrs. Jean Walker accompanied by Laural Thome, sang "O My Father." After closing remarks of sympathy symp-athy and appreciation by Bishop Seeley, Warren Kirk accompanied by Mrs. Kirk sang the closing number "Invicties." Benediction was pronounced by Russell Green, a nephew. Interment directed by Olpin-Mortuary Olpin-Mortuary was made in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Cemetery, where Orville L. Larson, a nephew, offered offer-ed the dedicatorial prayer. Pallbearers, nephews, were Blaine Larson, George Larson, Nyle Green, Vance Green, Dan Peterson and Jesse Peterson. Flowers were cared for and arranged ar-ranged by Pleasant Grove First Ward Relief Society. |
