Show f - i 1 MISS ELAINE HICKEN - Elaine Hicken to Wed G. J. Garlick In Temple Rites Set for June 27 Mr. and Mrs. Cyril M. Hicken of Heber are announcing the en-gagEiment en-gagEiment and approaching marriage mar-riage of their daughter Elaine to G. J. Garlick, son of Mr. -and Mrs. Gastin Garlick of American Fork. The couple have chosen June 27 as their nuptial date and will pledge vows in a ceremony to be solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They will be nonored the same evening in Heber Fourth Ward. On July 1 an open house recep- tion in the American Fork Fifth Ward will further honor the newly marrieds. Receiving from 8 to 10 p.m. will be held with no further invitations to be is-' is-' sued all friends and family are cordially invited. The bride will be attended by Mrs. Niel W. Hicken, a sister-in-law and Mrs. Tom Watson, Mrs. Gary Peay, Mrs. Mackey Boley and Mrs. Maynard Erickson. Mackey Boley will perform the duties of best man. The bride-elect is a graduate of the Brigham Young University Univer-sity and served an LDS mission in the West Central States. She taught school the past year at Pleasant Grve Elementary school. Mr. Garlick is - a graduate of the BYU and is in the real estate -business in Provo. He has also filled an LDS mission in the Netherlands. The couple will live in American Ameri-can Fork where their new home is rapidly nearing completion. |
