Show Youth Conference Sunday Evening Conducted by MIA The Youth Conference held in connection with the regular quarterly quar-terly conference, opened Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Superintendent Super-intendent Herbert Gilbert presiding. pre-siding. The theme of the conference was "An Hour with 'the Bible," and opened with the congregation congrega-tion singing "The Lord Is My Shepherd." They were directed by Chester Stone and accompanied by Duella Jakesman. Invocation was offered by Steven Ste-ven Thomson and Walter Reim-schiissel Reim-schiissel presented the volleyball trophy to the Sixth ward. A Bible story was told by Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Radmall and a scriptural reading given by Dennis Culli-more, Culli-more, and also by Karen Chris-tianson. Chris-tianson. Todd Christofferson gave a violin solo and the parable of the Pharisee and the Publican was told by David Jeppson. Parable of the Wise and Fool-isth Fool-isth Virgins was told by Marilyn Stubbs; a clarinet selection was played by Greg Christofferson and Judy Walker gave the Parable Par-able of the Talents. Mark Johnson told the Parable Par-able of the Rich Fool and the closing number by the congregation congrega-tion was ''Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow." Gayle Pace offered the benediction. |
