Show Dairy Princess and Attendants Are Selected in County Petite and lovely brunette Myma Januan of Orem was named nam-ed Utah County Dairy Princess at a recent contest during which judges looked over 30 beautiful contestants. Miss Jarman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Le-Grand Le-Grand Jarman. Nancy Lee Smith, vivacious daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Pleasant 'Grove, was named first attendant. The second sec-ond attendant designation went to Susan Hales, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Callie D. Hales, also of Orem. The trio of lovelies will participate partic-ipate in a variety of dairy activities activ-ities during the year, sponsored by the dairy industry. JoAnn Radmall of Pleasant Grove and Rebecca Ailred were named as alternates. Miss Radmall Rad-mall is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Radmall. The new county princess will compete in the state finals in November and was awarded a year's tuition to Utah State University Uni-versity as a result of her Utah County win. Judges of the contest were Dr. and Mrs. Lou Curtis of Salt Lake City, Ned Winder of Salt Lake and Mrs. Idona Aoord of Provo. Special guests for the activities were President of the Utah American Am-erican Dairy Association Welby Young, Vern Bingham, chairman of Dairy Month, and Harold Peterson, Pet-erson, manager of Utah ADA. |
