Show Funeral Rites for Maurine Allen Held Wednesday Funeral services for Maurine Alien, -18, who died at the' American Am-erican Fork Hospital last Saturday, Sat-urday, were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Manila Ward Cliap-el. Cliap-el. Mrs. Allen died of a heart ailment. The services were under the direction of Bishop Elliot C. Howe and the opening- prayer was given giv-en by Eklon Pack. Mrs. Jessie Wadley and K. Warnick Swenson were speakers besides opening remarks by the Bishop. Two vocal numbers wore given by the Ma.mlo-el.b3s, and S. Hal Haycock played an organ solo. Closing prayer was given by Merrill N. Warnick and prelude and postlude organ music was played by Nelda Warnick. The grave was dedicated by Joseph Carr. Pallbearers were LaMont Allen, Harold Allen, Earl Millar, Leland Millar, Luceen Chamberlain and Robert Chamberlain. Cham-berlain. Flowers were cared for by the Manila Ward Relief Society. So-ciety. Mrs. Allen was born Jan 9, 1913 In American Fork, a daughter of Charles and Fannie Millar Chamberlain. Cham-berlain. She was married to Merrill Allen Al-len on May 7, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a teaoher of the genealogical committee in her ward at the time of her death. Surviving are her husband of Pleasant Grove, two daughters and one son, Peggy Allen, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove; Mrs. Nathan (Kathleen) (Kath-leen) Adams, Storrs, Conn., and David Allen, now on an LDS Mission Mis-sion in South Africa. Two grand-grandchildren; grand-grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters, Allen Chamberlain, Topich, Wash.; Mrs. George D. (Berniece) Davis, San Diego, California; Cal-ifornia; Mrs. Joseph (Myrl) Carr, Brigham City; Dean C. Chamber lain, Warrenton, Ore.; Ralph Chamberlain, Provo; Mrs. Helen C. Cherry, Ontario, Calif.; Zen-neth Zen-neth K. Chamberlain, Alpine; Mrs Bill (Eva) Bunnell, Dugway. |
