Show Escapees Capture Assisted by Local Officers Two Pleasant Grove law enforcement en-forcement officers assisted in the arrest of two escapees from Utah State Prison Saturday evening. Captured in Lehi were Robert W. Young and Quinn S. James, who cut and dug their way out of Uie "Point" earlier in the week. Chief of Police Glen Newman and Deputy Sheriff Max Ferre went to Lehi in response to calls from Utah Highway Patrol Dispatcher Dis-patcher Dick Hall. Price was spotted by Charles Southwick, an off-duty prison guard near a Lehi Cafe about 6 p.m. Price was eating a hamburger hambur-ger and carrying another one. Wondering who the second burger bur-ger was for, officers searched the area and found Quinn hiding in the Lehi Cemetery. Neither of the escapees offered any resistance to arrest and are now in isolation cells at the Prison. Pris-on. Other officers taking part in the capture were Lehi Police Chief Karl Zimmerman and Dean Kirkham, Utah County Deputy Sheriff. |
