Three Junior Girls Selected to Attend Girls State This Year Three Junior girls have been selected to attend the 1961 Girls State sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. The youth conclave con-clave on the various aspects of democratic government will be held at Utah State University-Sunday, University-Sunday, June 11 through Sunday, June 18. Selected on the basis of leadership, leader-ship, character, courage, honesty, cooperation, responsibility and scholarship were the following, according to Mrs. Geneve Dalt.on. Walker and Therisa Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Her-bert Miller, both of Pleasant Grove. - Sponsors who donated the registration reg-istration fees for the girls were Cadmus Club, Elysium Club, Jay-oee Jay-oee Gems and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 70. The slogan for Girls Staters and Girls Nation this year is, "From .Shining Dream to Silver Girls State Chairman of Unit 70, local American Legion auxiliary.
