Show Cold Snap Last Week Warms Up This Week It was cold in Pleasant Grove early last Saturday morning;. The official U.S. Weather Bureau thermometer at the home of Calvin Cal-vin Walker stood at a cliilly 21 degrees. This was the lowest re- , cording for several weeks. Freezing temperatures were recorded re-corded on five of the seven days of the weather period ending at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 17. Reports from fruit farmers reveal re-veal that none of the buds have been noticeably damaged except In the case of apricots. There are a few of them still unharmed they said. Light storms visited the local area on April 13 and 14 but were quite stingy with water. The total was only 0.06 of an inch. It looked like rain at 7:30 on Tuesday morning while this report re-port was being prepared.
