Show Last Friday afternoon Mrs. Glen Sykes was hostess to the Lawata Club at her home. The decorative scheme was of patriotic suggestion, sweet peas in the national colors being used with small American flags. Bridge, was the main diversion diver-sion of the afternoon followed by a delicious lunch. Mrs. Leo Van Wagoner Wag-oner won the club pme and Mrs. Stanford Briggs the guest favor. The special guests bidden were Mes-dames Mes-dames James Chadwick, Leo Meredith, Mere-dith, Kenneth Noyes, Stanford Briggs, Philip Greene and Walter Devey Jr. Mrs. Walter Devey Sr. entertained the Sorosis club last Saturday afternoon. after-noon. Bridge was played, Mrs. T. S. Friday winning the guest prize and Mrs. A. F. Gaisford Jr. the guest club prize. Late in the afternoon a delicious lunch,, was served. The special guests were Mesdames T. S. Priday, Norman Wing, G. A. Anderson, Ander-son, E. H. Devey and Walter Devey Jr. Mrs. A. F. Gaisford Jr. will entertain the club next Friday afternoon, after-noon, February 23rd. A baby boy was bom to Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Gillett of Lehi on Friday, Fri-day, February 9th, in the local hospital. hos-pital. Mother and child are doing well. n |
