Show j Ten Years Ago i Now (Taken from files of Feb. 16, 1924) Friday morning while M. H. Bullock Bul-lock and Peter Mack were loading gravel at the Atwood gravel pit, Mr. Bullock was seriously injured by a cave-in. About ten ton of gravel was percipitated on him almost cov-; cov-; ering him. Ben and Merrill Warnick who were near by assisted in remov-, remov-, ing him and rushed him to a physician. Ten Years Ago Now The Old Folks of Pleasant Grove were entertained Tuesday. Chairman Chair-man W. L. Hayes was chairman and presided at the program which commenced com-menced at 11:30 a. m. with a few numbers and was continued in the afternoon for the general public. Carnations were presented by local florist and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Humphries to everyone over seventy years of age, and to all widows. Ten Years Ago Now The Third ward M. I. A. will present pre-sent the play "Mary, Mary Quite Contrary" next Wednesday. Thse taking part are: Norma Christiansen, Christian-sen, Ernest Clayton, Lucile Wright, Delbert Fugal, Frank Atwood, Ar-rena Ar-rena Atwood, Niels Fugal, Louise Shocll, Elroy Nelson and Ruby Rad-ma'.l. Rad-ma'.l. Ten Years Ago Now The Old Folks Day and Ward Reunion Re-union of the Lindon Second ward was a big success. The two oldest ladies of the ward, Mrs. L. J. Swenson Swen-son and Mrs. Peck were presented with a bouquet each of sweet peas. There were about 180 persons between be-tween sixteen and ninety present. |
