Alpine Motorist Hurt In Mishap At Road Detour Verl Clark, 19, of Alpine suffered cuts and bruises in a head-on automobile auto-mobile collision at 3 a. m. Sunday, at the culvert construction detour between American Fork and Pleasant. Pleas-ant. Grove. Clark was treated at the American Ameri-can Fork Community hospital, where he was examined for possible skull fracture. He was released Monday. Clark's car collided with another driven by Frank Holt, 20, of South Jordan, as both were going around the short and narrow detour. Total To-tal damage to both cars was estimated esti-mated at $150. Deputy Sheriff Walter Durrant investigated.
