Show WATCHMAN SAVES STOKE FROM FIRE Appreciation for the work of Night Marshal Albert Birk for preventing pre-venting a damaging fire at the O. P. Skaggs store at an early hour Thursday was expressed yesterday by Paul Adamson, manager. Mr. Birk, making his last rounds near the end of his shift, noticed smoke in the store, and proceeded to investigate. The motor on the refrigerator re-frigerator proved to have been overheated, over-heated, and was burning and smoking. smok-ing.
