Show Firearms Banned On Property Of Training School Creek bed and farming land owned own-ed by the Utah State Training School this week was being posted as a bird sanctuary, and warnings-were warnings-were issued that the law would be enforced on the property. Poachers have caused considerable trouble on the school lands, and their shooting inpast years has endangered en-dangered the lives of children. The property has not been posted previously; hence, the law was not enforced to the fullest extent. In 1932, the 620 acres of training school land was set aside by the state as a bird sanctuary, and firearms fire-arms and trapping were prohibited in the area. The new signs posted at the boundaries will warn hunters and shooters who might otherwise unknowingly violate the law. |
