Show Legion Ladies To Make Drive Tre Ladies Auxiliary of the American Amer-ican Legion met last Thursday in the Legion hall and laid plans for an increased membership drive to be conducted during the coming month. Mrs. Helen Mercer, president of the auxiliary, gave a talk on membership member-ship and a letter on this subject was read from Mrs. Sherman Lamb of the state organization. An invitation invita-tion was received from Mrs. Eva Mildenhall of Provo, inviting the local members to a card party to be held in Provo, February 22. Mrs- Nan Peck appointed the following fol-lowing workers in each ward for the membership campaign: First ward, Mrs. Ethel Graff and Mrs. Helen Mercer; Second ward, Mrs- Florence Moss and Mrs. Mae Bennett; Third ward, Mrs. Lillie Beck and Miss Thelma Larsen; Fourth ward, Mrs. Priscilla Murdock and Mrs. Jennie Greenwood. The following committee chair- men were also appointed at the meeting: meet-ing: Mrs- Haydee Iverson, poppy day; Mrs. Ora Chipman, music; Mrs. priscilla Murdock, publicity; Mrs. Florence Bezzant, fidac; Mrs. Mae Bennett, national defense- A letter was read from John Mil-etich Mil-etich thanking the auxiliary for the box sent him for Christmas.
