Show Stake M.I.A. to Present Opera All six wards of the Timpanogos stake are presenting a splendid opera, op-era, "And It Rained" next Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening, under un-der the direction of the stake M. I. A. board. The matinee performance is Monday at 3 p. m- for the benefit bene-fit of school children and the evening eve-ning performance Tuesday at 8 o'clock p. m- All proceeds to go to the wards. The opera is staged around Steele Black, a ranch owner, and John Rich, now wealthy, who were boyhood boy-hood friends years agto. Maibelle, John Rich's daughter, is determined to retrieve the family heirloom, which is now in possession of Steele Black. Maibelle and her father are on a west-bound train en route to Black's ranch, and Dennis, son of Steele Bleck, en route home from college is on the same train, when the train was stopped by a washed out bridge and all of the people go to the Wise hotel. Maizie, sister of Dennis, and Curly, John Rich's son, and their college glee club miraculously miracu-lously spanned the bridge before it crashed and all were at the same hotel, also M'selle Caray and her dancing troupe- The entire group joins in the celebration cel-ebration of that grand openingrnigi. of the hotel. Steele Black hears of the train mishap and goes to the hotel by airplane. A lot of fun, plenty of plot and the joining of the young folks to the satisfaction of all makes a charming musical and story.
