Plan for school immunizations Parents are encouraged to pre-pare now for their child's upcoming kindergarten school year. Children must be immunized to pass their school physical exam. Immunizations can be done during the summer and recorded in the child's medical records. When parents receive the school exami-nation papers, they should present them to their child's physician to be filled out. Immunization guides are avail-able at local doctor's offices listing the recommended ages and immu-nization schedule to follow. If par-ents have any questions, they are encouraged to talk with their child's physician or nurse. |
