Show Review - Wednesday, August 9, 1989 - Page 5 Kristen Brinkerhoff called to Los Angeles LDS Visitors Center Sister Kristen Brinkerhoff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary and LaReta Brinkerhoff, of Pleasant Grove, has been called to serve in the California, Los Angeles LDS Mission. She will speak in a sacrament service Sunday, August 13 at 12:30 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove 6th, 10th, 19th, and 20th Ward Chapel, 700 E. 500 N. An open house will also be held the same afternoon at the family home, 705 E. 500 N., Pleasant Grove. Sister Brinkerhoff will enter the Missionary Training Center on August 16, 1989. Kristen will speak Spanish and serve as a tour guide at the Los Angeles Temple Visitor Center. She graduated from PGHS in 1986 and has attended UVCC. Each student has progressed at least one grade level in six weeks, with several children achieving two or more levels in reading ability.
