Show Art works sought for autumn show entitled 'Utah Grandeur' The Springville Museum of Art has issued a call for entries for their Geneva Steel Autumn Show titled "Utah Grandeur". The exhibition to be held from Oct. 14 through Dec 3, will feature works depicting the grandeur of Utah's most spectacular landscapes. This show, which will be both juried an d curated, seeks entries of the unique and overpowering landscapes land-scapes of Utah - our mountains, cliffs, lakes, arches, canyons, vistas vis-tas and towering stone monuments, etc. A major catalogue of 60 pages, five color plates, 44 black and white illustrations and text will chronicle chron-icle the history of landscape painting paint-ing in Utah, focusing on the grandiose. grandi-ose. There will be a $5 entry fee with a limit of two works per artist with all entry revenue being used for awards. Art will be received October 3 through 7, 1989 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. |
