Show Deseret Bank, Tri-City golf tourney set May 13, 14 and 15 are the dates for the 15th annual Tri-City Golf Tournament at the Tri-City Golf Course in American Fork. ; Deseret Bank, with offices throughout Utah County, is the j sponsor of the event. Participants will be playing for a total prize i amount of over $5,000. "Last year, we had approximately ap-proximately 230 participants and we expect a full field (240 participants) this year," says Gary Naylor, golf professional at the Tri-City course. "This is a terrific opportunity for golf pros who work at local courses and make their living serving the public to compete against each other. We expect golfers from throughout the state to participate." The Pro-Am Division will take place Friday, May 13, with professional and amateur golfers teaming up and competing for cash and merchandise prizes. The two-day two-day Open begins Saturday, MMay 14, and consists of four divisions -amateurs (gross and net), senior pro (golf professionals over age 55) and the pro division. Both events are open to the public. Registration closes on Wednesday, May 12. The Deseret Bank Tri-City Tournament is third on the 1988 ! Utah Pro-Am circuit. Entry fees are $40 for a Pro-Am player; $100 OpenProfessional; and $35 j OpenAmateur. All amateur J players must be a current member of the Utah Golf Association and have an established handicap.
