Show n Police, FBI still seek i gtmmaE who robbed bank a lone gunman robbed U.S. Bank, ,18 North West State Road, (Timp Hi piaza Shopping Center) Monday shortly after opening time. pet Terry Fox, American Fork Police, reported a male suspect X ffearing a stocking mask, entered K &e bank about 9:35 a.m., pulled a weapon and told the two tellers it was an armed robbery. ;f. He took a brown bag - possibly a grocery bag - to the first teller window, and told her to empty her cash register in the bag. He then went to the second teller and did the same thing before telling them to get down on the floor. The amount of money taken was not released. Fox said the weapon was described as a "blued" color. possibly a revolver. Following the robbery, the suspect was seen running east then south before getting into a black 1978-79 Ford pickup and heading toward West Main Street. He is described as about 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and a L. own mustache sprinkled with "salt and pepper" gray. He was wearing levis, brown work or hiking boots, a safari jacket similar to an army field jacket, a khaki stocking cap, and had black knit gloves on his hands. The Federal Bureau of Investigation In-vestigation is assisting with the investigation. If anyone saw the suspect, they are asked to contact Fox at the American Fork Police Department. |
