Scholarships are based on overall academic achievement, Vo Ag class grades, and FFA participation. Recipients are David Bezzant, $500 USU; Paul Bingham, 1 quarter tuition waiver at USU; Jim Bingham, $500 at USU; Stephanie Evans, $1,300 at USU and $300 P.G. one year at USU and $300 P.G. Manila School honors students Manila Elementary School Citizens of the Month for April were honored with a rootbeer float party and gifts last week. They were selected for being the most helpful. The students honored included cindergarteners Jackie Wilson, Trinity Durrant, Cassie Carter, Garett Robinson, Brittney Allred, Chase Amador, Derek Watson and Stormie Green. First graders recognized are Elizabeth Moore, Caleb Bailey, Kristen Phillips, James Losee, Nate Cullimore, Haylee Salisbury, Rebecca Paulson and Luke Johnson. Those from the second grade included Justin Goodman, Michelle Anderson, Nicole Hayes, Joshua Proctor, Jeff Makin, Karrie Gaisford, Lance Scott, and Lisa Robison. A brief introduction to the Key Club and its services to the com-- j munity will be discussed, and many other enjoyable activities will be a part of this picnic. Anyone interested in joining Key Club should plan to attend. The cost will be $3 per person and will cover the meal and activities. If you are interested, money must be to Mrs. Craner at the High School by Thursday, May 12. If you have any questions, you may contact Mrs. Craner at the High School, at Key Club is not just service to the community, but a lot of fun. PGHS Key Club also is in charge of the upkeep of and lighting the block letter "G." They need your support to make '88-8- 9 a great year. On Friday, May 20, will be the new member social.
