The concerts are part of the Temple Square Concert Series, and are sponsored by the Activities Com-mittee of the LDS Church. Saturday, March, 31, 1984: 'The Redeemer, ' by Robert Cundick Dr. Ralph Woodward will conduct the oratorio, "The Redeemer, A Sacred Service of Music" at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. Composed by Dr. Robert Cundick, with scriptural text by Dr. Wood-ward, it is based upon the Bible and Book of Mormon. Dr. Woodward conceived the idea for the piece as an effort to help explain the viewpoint of the LDS Church towards the Savior. He approached Dr. Cundick, and they completed "The Redeemer" in January, 1978. Its first performance was in March, 1978. Dr. Cundick has earned widespread recognition as a composer and organist. He was appointed to a position as Taber-nacle organist in 1965, is a lecturer in music at the University of Utah, and is a professor of music at BYU. Dr. Woodward is completing his 29th year at BYU. He conducts the Men's Chorus and the A Cappella Choir, and is the creator and ar-tistic director of the Ralph Wood ward Chorale.
