Show Main Street Pizza opens Open for business in the former Galaxey Fun Center is American Fork's newest pizza place, Main Street Pizza. Owner Brent McDaniel says it's where people can come with their families to relax, enjoy delicious homemade pizza and a fun evening out. Main Street Pizza is keeping the electronic games for its customers and adding birthday packages to its . fare. For a fee, Main Street will provide pizza and drinks, ice cream and cake for whatever age birthday party a customer wants. McDaniel invites those interested to call 756-4572 and talk with him or drop into the pizza shop when they are open between Monday and Saturday, 11 a.m. until 10p.m. Main Street Pizza also serves 12-and 12-and 14-inch submarine sandwiches the likes of which McDaniel says, "I've yet to see a guy that can eat a whole one." They have Fernwood ice cream -right now you can buy a sundae and get the second one for half price. Other specials include; free garlic bread with the purchase of any size pizza and a free medium size drink with a sub sandwich. Main Street Pizza is open daily for lunch. He notes that Main Street can handle fund-raising pizza sales for school, church and civic efforts. "I make them -- the big 15 inch with three toppings for $7 each," explains McDaniel. This is McDaniel's dream business. "I've always wanted to own a fancy restaurant, I might as well start here," he says. "I'd like to see this become a place that parents feel comfortable bringing their kids to. Respectable, reputable; that's what kind of atmosphere I'm trying to create." Main Street Pizza is currently in its fourth week of operation at 24 East Main in American Fork. McDaniel Mc-Daniel invites folks to "give us a try." |
