MARK BEZZANT e "Home and Garden Show" sored by the Salt Lake Tribune ;r and what a show it was. If nissed it this year you might to look for it next year. It was ' exciting. Not only did they some really fine commercial lys but they had some really deals on garden and home ies. addition to the displays were excellent educational ins on everything from anthemums to automating greenhouse. The extension :e from Utah State University an interesting computer ly you can hook into now, and uterize your gardening. One of the most important things to remember is that nothing succeeds like success. If you have had a beautiful lawn, or garden for years just ignore all the fancy stuff. You might have been cutting your lawn as short as the hair of a new recruit in the Marines. Now about every professional I know will tell you to step and raise that blade. My advice is that if it works for you with your gardening practices then go right on doing it. If you plant your peas by the moon and get as good of results as the person with a degree in horticulture you go right on planting by the moon. Be careful, however, for the program that comes along and promises things like a lawn you never have to water, or mow. |
