Show PI. Grove students win in regional Reflections Contest Two Pleasant Grove area children were among the 15 region winners of the PTA Reflections contest honored by the Alpine Board of Education at its Tuesday night meeting. The winners were presented with certificates and blue ribbons. The winning entries will be submitted to the State PTA office to compete with other Reflections throughout the state. Outstanding entries in the region contest will be display at the Board Room of the Alpine School District in American Fork until Monday, March 19. Winning in the music division was Paige Atkin, the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Atkin of Lindon and a student at Pleasant Grove Junior High School. She wrote a musical composition titled "I Have A Dream." Winning in the literature division was Brad Williams, 7, a second grader at Lindon Elementary, won for a composition called 'I Have a Dream." He is the son of Michael and Pamela Williams of Orem. |
