Weed, Wilmington f De. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, y November 11, at 1 p.m.L in the Orem 56th Ward g Chapel, Orem under the direction of Bishop J. A Richard Jones. In- w terment was in the'. Orem City Cemetery. (5 Florence P. Simmons, age 79, of Orem, died Sunday, November 8, in the Utah Valley Hospital. She was born October 4, 1902, in American Fork, the daughter of Thomas S. and Luna Chipman Priday. She married Robert B. Simmons May 31, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Simmons was educated in American Fork and attended BYU. She taught school in Utah and Pennsylvania. Penn-sylvania. She resided in Pittsburgh, Penn. after her marriage until moving to Orem in 1974. She was an active member of the LDS Church - having served as a missionary in the Eastern States Mission, also as stake Primary president and MIA Board Member, Relief Society and Mutual president, organist, choister, and teacher.
