Show Funeral Services for Clarissa Pyper Held in Heber Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the Wasatch Was-atch Stake Center, Heber for Clarissa Van Wagoner Pyper, 92, who died last Saturday of causes incident to age. Mrs. Pyper was born Sept. 26, 1880 to John Sr. and Margaret Mar-garet Ann Faucett Van Wagoner Wag-oner in Midway. She married James Thomas Pyper on Feb. 7, 1900 in Midway, and the marriage was solemnized three months later in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Pyper died April 14, 1956 Mrs. Pyper lived in Midway, Salt Lake City and Pleasant Grove. She had lived in Provo for a while with a daughter. Mrs. Pyper was an active LDS Church worker, serving in many officers, and was also active in genealogy and as a temple worker. Survivors include three sons and four daughters, Mrs. Clara Edwards and Clyde Pyper, both of Pleasant Grove; George A., ; Salt Lake City; Mrs. Harry D. (Alta) Charlton, Sunset Beach, Calif.; A;lma L., Phoenxi Ariz.; , Mrs. Earl (Chloe) Finlayson, i Provo; Mrs. Lincoln (Mima) Rasband, Heber City; 36 grandchildren, grand-children, 144 great grandchildren, grandchild-ren, 17 great-great-grandchild-, ren; one brother and two sis-! sis-! ters, Albert Van Wagoner, of Provo, Mrs. Nancy Haueter, Midway, and Mrs. Luella Brein-holt, Brein-holt, Heber City. |
