Show Provo Temple Has Longer Time for Giving Out Names Three hours and fifteen minutes min-utes for name giving will be added to the length of the daily schedule of the Provo Temple, effective Dec. 5, 1972. The morning mor-ning hours for name giving, formerly from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. will be from 6 to 12 noon, under un-der the revised arrangement. The afternoon schedule for name giving, which ran from 4 to 7:15 p.m., will begin at 3:30 p.m. and close at 8 p.m. in the new schedule. . These additional hours will make it possible for patrons to complete more sessions while they are in the temple and will help avoid congestion in the number of people attending. Mothers and housewives will have a greater opportunity to attend sessions after their children chil-dren are in school. The extended extend-ed evening hours will accommodate accom-modate those who must work at their places of business until un-til five or six p.m. and then come to the temple. The general impression that patrons will encounter long waiting periods at the temple is not true, and especially with the inauguration of the new schedule on Dec. 5. The special "early risers" 5:30 a.m. session for priesthood members and those women who wish to come at this early hour will be continued unti. further notice. |
