PG City Council (Continued from page 1) director, met with the council to explain the recreation pro-gram for the coming year. One of the problems Mr. Hoglund presented to the council was that of providing an equitable means of charging riding clubs for use of lights at the rodeo grounds. He stated that the lights last summer cost $433 to use. In the past, some clubs have spent hours repairing and maintaining the rodeo grounds and other clubs have paid for their time using the grounds. Mr. Hoglund asked the coun-cil to establish a policy where-by the costs of the lights can be collected. The council ask-ed the recorder to arrange a meeting with the presidents of the various riding clubs to dis-cuss the matter. Chief of Police Michael Ferre and Officer Brent Bullock, were present at the meeting to dis-cuss the problem within the city of minors being able to purchase beer from any of the local merchants selling it. They reported they know of cases where each store has sold to minors. They requested that action be taken to correct this problem and make it known to merchants selling beer to min-ors they will have their licen-ses revoked if this practice continues. .MeOprestf The council was in favor of notifying those merchants with beer licenses that if they are found selling beer to anyone under age, they will have their beer license revoked. Bids for a new pickup truck were presented by Councilman Neil Fugal. The bids were re-viewed and a decision will be made at the next meeting af-ter the bids have been thor-oughly reviewed.
