Show PI. Grove DUP Camp Held Meeting Last Friday Nov. 10 Pleasant Grove Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their monthly meeeting at the Timpanogos Stake Center Friday, Nov. 10. Captain Fern Hicks conducted conduct-ed and opening prayer was given by Ina Iverson. Chorister Merle Stubbs led the group in singing "The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers," Pion-eers," their practice song "Pulling "Pull-ing Hard Against the Stream," accompanied by Hortense Fronk. Minutes were read and the roll call conducted by Melva Mattinson. There were 21 members present. The pledge of allegiance to ! the flag was then given and business matters discussed. Also, Al-so, plans for the Christmas party par-ty were made. "Hotels" was the name of the lesson very well presented by Edna Newman. Mary Howes prepared and read a very interesting in-teresting history on "The Chicken Chic-ken Ranch" which is located part way up on Mt. Mahogany. Closing prayer was given by Leaone Carson, and light refreshments re-freshments were served by hostesses hos-tesses Mary Howes, Delilah Fu-gal, Fu-gal, Mary Jane Johnson and Margaret Atwood. |
