Show Merrymaker takes one on the nose An assortment of thefts and DUIs grace the police blotter the first week of July. Additionally, there was a Main Street fight, an assault on a Fourth of July merrymaker, and a dead cat incident reported to the Park City Police Department. Three DUI arrests were made this week. The suspects sus-pects are: Georganne S. Robinson, Rob-inson, Park City; Russell Stoweil, Evanston, Wyoming; and Richard C. Reilly, Park City. , Pauline M. Christensen of j Sandy, Utah, was charged . with public intoxication in , the Black Pearl after the police department received a complaint from the management Gary Pankow reported July 5 that his Weber kettle barbecue was stolen while still hot from a cookout on the evening of the Fourth Pankow reported that the grill was left behind, and requests that the thief return for it and they can settle up. Ladd E. Christensen reported July 3 that a Honda motorcycle was stolen from the Park Station condos. Douglas Wren of Park City told police that he picked up a hitchhiker at the Alpha Beta on June 30 who was thumbing a ride to Salt Lake City. Later, he discovered his wallet was missing along with his Vaurnet sunglasses. The value of the items is listed at $70. Malcolm West, Park City, reported, that he was assaulted at about 11 p.m. on the Fourth of July by an unknown white male. Nest said the suspect must have thought that he was setting off fireworks in the direction of the suspect's family. West suffered injuries to his nose and upper lip. Park City Police arrested two men for fighting on Main Street the night of July 2. Bryan K. Von Bank, Sandy, Utah, was charged with disorderly conduct and giving false information to a police officer. Kelly Cooper, Salt Lake City, also was charged with disorderly conduct. "Criminal mischief" was reported by Les V. Anderton on June 29. He told police that someone damaged the hood of his car while it was parked on Main Street. An "animal problem" complaint was filed by Nancy Nan-cy Schulder. She reported that her son Billy had been attempting to prevent his dog from harming a cat when the cat bit him. The dog then killed the cat. The cat had no identification tag. The witness of a July 1 traffic accident at the intersection inter-section of Park Avenue and Homestake Road should contact con-tact the Park City Police Department at 649-9410.
