Boots and the Heels are back at the Alamo, rocking & rolling and creating creat-ing hysteria with everything from Hendrix to the blues to funky and everything in between. There's lots of dancing and carrying on, for a $2 cover charge. Cowboy Bar The hard-rockin Ted Men-try Men-try Band will be at the Cowboy for a second weekend. week-end. The Colorado-based group will be performing Thursday through Saturday for a $3 cover. Black Pearl The Black Pearl is featuring featur-ing August, a Salt Lake rock and roll band, Wednesday through Saturday. Their cover charge is $2. Sneaker's Ric Weber is continuing at Sneaker's Club, singing and playing guitar to a wide variety of musical styles. He'll be there Friday and Saturday nights during din- j ner. Adolph's Bob Weisenfeld is playing classical guitar at Adolph's for evening entertainment. Grub Steak The Stoddard Brothers will be singing a variety of easy listening country tunes at the Grub Steak this weekend, along with musical accompaniment accom-paniment of piano, flute, and guitar. Down Under Kat is at the Claim-jumper's Claim-jumper's Down Under club, singing and strumming country-western folk melodies. melo-dies. ParkWest Last but not least, Park-West Park-West is kicking off its summer season Saturday night with Kenny Logging, starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10.25 in advance, $12.25 at the door, and are available at DataTix outlets and Soundtrack. Marshall Tucker will be performing next Wednesday night at 7 p.m., preceded by Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, Memphis rock and rollers. |
