Recreational outings are being, be-ing, planned for future enjoyment enjoy-ment of the group and anyone in Park City over the age of 55 is welcome to join. The dues are only $2.00 a year. The Park City Senior Citizens meet each Monday and Thursday Thurs-day at the Senior Citizen Center for dinner at 5 p.m. A short business meeting usually fol lows the Monday dinner and on Thursdays the group enjoys Bingo, card games, pool or ' relaxing conversation. Newly elected officers Mrs. Bernice Marcellin, president; Mrs. Maye Yates, vice-president; Mrs. Marge Angeli, secretary; and Abe Williams, treasurer, attend frequent county coun-ty and state meetings to keep abreast of current problems that confront Senior Citizens. V Otto Carpenter maintains the building and the grounds so that everything is always in good order, clean and attractive. Last week the members voted to purchase needed kitchen equipment. Alvin Young, chairman of the Bus Committee, makes frequent announcements which help the group to co-ordinate their needs for bus rides thus making the system more efficient. Any Senior Citizen in Park City may call City Hall in advance for two rides per week to the Post Office, store, bank, etc., plus one extra ride per |
