KSFI General Manager Craig Hanson made the presentation, stating, "KSFI and Simmons Family, Ind., are delighted to donate this equipment in hopes that it will be used by Community Wireless to responsibly respon-sibly serve Park City." Accepting the stereo generator, genera-tor, SCA and transmitter-exciter was Blair Feulner, president of Community Wireless, who said i he equipment represented a major contribution to the radio effort . "This is essential equipment, if we had to but it new, it would cost well over $8,000," he said. Feulner also praised the technical assistance given Community Com-munity Wireless by KSFI's Chief Engineer Brent Sylvester. He concluded: "I think this donation, and the fact that KSFI is the only Salt Lake FM station with a Park City translator, shows a significant committ- , ment by KSFI to this area. |
