Show SLAC to Present "Mammoth" THE SALT LAKE ACTING COMPANY will present MAMMOTH, MAM-MOTH, a play by Richard : Kramer. Six performances only, MAMMOTH will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, March 30, 31, April 1 and April 6, 7, 8 at 8:00 p.m. in The Glass Factory Theatre at Arrow Press Square. MAMMOTH is a psychological psychologi-cal melodrama in the tradition of the horror films of the 1930's and is based .on the legend of the minotaur. The setting, by Michael Stevens, is a beautiful, foreboding home in the tropics of South America. Three characters charac-ters lash, vie, and eat at each . other, and all ostensibly over the existence of an ancient Mammoth buried on the grounds. Mr. Kramer's philosophy philos-ophy is fascinating, and the theatrics are both brilliant and terrifying. Written as a birthday present for MAMMOTH'S leading character, char-acter, Mr. Kramer has chosen to direct his own work and THE SALT LAKE ACTING COMPANY COM-PANY is honored to be able to produce it. Mr. Kramer's plays have been seen at Theatre 138, where he was Playwright-In-Residence under a grant from . the Utah State Council for the Arts. Mr. Kramer denies the rumors that MAMMOTH is about a rabbit who has been hit by a truck. MAMMOTH'S three characters charac-ters will be played by Anna Louise, James Montgomery and Randy Milligan.
