Show Marsac Notes by Karen Bogue and Pat Whitfield Marsac School held a Magic Show for St. Patrick's Day last Friday in the Media Center during the lunch hour. The tricks included a disappearing disap-pearing coin, a disappearing scarf, cutting a girl in half, and many other mind boggling baffelers. All children who performed were awarded prizes. Paige Marriot did the trick of the magic raisin. Eric Heiself made a quarter penetrate a box. Chentelle Daley cut Teresa Daley in half with a pair of scissors. Nina Sieverts pulled a piece of string through the neck of Heidi Hannay. The Magic Show was a grand success of stupendous stunts thanks to the creativity of Carol Marriott. Mr. Kim Jensen's class presented a play, "Hasta Manana" on Tuesday, March 20, 1979. The play, a short western improvisation, was written by the boys in the class. Carol Marriott directed and helped with the play. Students are looking forward to the Mini-Art Classes that will begin this Thursday. |
