| Show boy scout news to begin july and end september 2nd and the boy scouts of park city will endeavor to build up the rank of the individual and of the troop by sponsoring among themselves and their leaders an inter troop and an inter patrol contest by doing this the boys will probably y work harder prizes will be given to t the h e scout and the patrol having the greatest number of points A certain number of points will be given the scout and the patrol for the following activities 1 attendance to troop and patrol meetings g 2 chu church ch attendance 3 attendance at troop or patrol hikes 4 good turns 6 5 number of tests passed 6 new recruits brought by other boy scouts 7 special achievement as making an object to help decorate the patrol or troop room 8 monthly dues duee our troop Is also sponsoring tor for the benefit of itself a three day outing at the tha ontario lakes we are planning to build some sort of shelter lor for the troop this outing will help the campers to learn the most essential and helpful things of out door life in our scout work we have seventy two boy scouts and others are joining each week one troop should only contain four patrols of eight boys each we have in our troop eight patr patrols which privileged us to divide into two troops A scout meeting was held friday night but very little was accomplished scouts notice scout meeting tonight at at the L D S church |
