Harahnn ot the Illinois Central railroad yesterday confirmed the reports re-ports of his prospecve retirement, naming January 12, 1911, as the dat'j. Mr. Harahan will be awarded a pension pen-sion of about $6,0oo under the rubs of the company, which apply alike to all employes aftT they reach the age of 70.
