Local boxer, who is anxious for a bout with Kid Ross of Salt Lake. i Kid Harrison, the Ogdeu pugilist, was born In Mexico and migrated with his parents to Kansas City In 1901. One of his best fights was with Louis Long, whom Harrison knocked out In fourteen rounds. Kddle Sandry met a similar fato iu eight rounds, and many more fights resulted in lc-tories lc-tories for Harrison. Among these bouts was a go with Montana Kid. who was defeated In six rounds. In Oakland Harrison fought Lew Powell, and the decision was a draw after six rounds. Sam Nelson also came to Harrison to win supremacy and fought two draws with the "Kid," alter which Harrison was declared the winner In a ten-round battle. Harrison's light with Low Powell, in Febiuary of II'OS, was one of the best mills ever pulled off In Oakland, the decision being a draw after six rounds. At Redding, Cal., on June 4. 1910, Harrison won a 20-ronnd fight from Jim Konkle In the final round. Kon-kle Kon-kle fought Terry Kellar to a draw at Oakland. Harrisons next fight will probably bo with Kid Ross of Salt Lake Cliy. and as soon as FHght Promoter Shum-way Shum-way sets the date and place the mill will be arranged.
