An analysis of the premier prem-ier beets showed that tluy contained 10.7 per cnt of saccharine matter, with a ctKetflclent purity of SG 0. The second and third prizes were won by Thomas 11. Busby & Sons of lx)gnn. The second prize amounted to si 5 in money anil the third, Jl't. The Hushys had three separate exhibits ex-hibits at the lair, the first of which tested 1G.5 per cent saccharine and r..l per cent In purity. Their second exhibit showed lC.4 per cent in sugir propertied anil S.VS purity. The third Uusd.y exhibit tested 10. 1 per cent saccharine. M pure.
