Show DEATH OF PIONEER; Of SLATERVILLE Mrs Mary J. Allred, a respected pioneer pio-neer of Slatervllle, died at her home In Slatervllle this morning at 8 o'clock, after a lingering Illness of chronic nephritis. She was one of the early settlers of Slatervllle and during her life had been an earnest and faithful worker In (he church. She was especially Interested In-terested In tho Relief Society work of Slatervllle. Mrs. Allred was the wife of the late Bishop John Allred and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Knight, coming com-ing to Slaterrllle with her parents In the early GO'S. Sho was born In Nau-too, Nau-too, Illinois, September 19th, 1842. and Is survived by Mrs. Mary Slater, J. F Allred. Mrs. Nellie D. Cavey. William M. Allred, Mrs. Julia Corey. James L. Allred and Clarence Allred. Funeral services will bo held at the Slatervllle meeting house at 2 o'clock. Sunday afternoon, and the body will be Interred in the Ogden City cemetery. ceme-tery.
