Show RAIN STORM DID MUCH GOOD Reports from different directions indicate that the rain storm of last evening was heaviest in the vicinity of Ogden. At PlaJn City and immediate immed-iate vicinity the rain fell quhe heavily, heav-ily, doing much good to growing crops. There was some hay on the ground, but the rain was not heavy enough to do It damage. Superintendent JofTers of the Union Pacific stateB that telegraphic reports show trial the rain extended us faf as Green River In Wyoming It was not n heavy rain at any place, but enough moisture fell to lay tho dust and clarify tho atmosphere. In -jnnno localities ab.ng the railroad east of Ogden, there was enough rain to help the parched crops. Superintendent Rowlands of the Southern Pacific states that the fall of rain west was very light, barely fprlnkllng at Lakeside and, beyond that point there was little evidence of rain. The storm was light at Hunts Hie. not enough rain falling to have any effect on the crops. It wa.? cloudy and a little windy but the precipitation precipita-tion was exceedingly slight.
