He was sentenced to pay a fine of 25 or serve twenty-flvo days In the city Jail. Th complaint against Romenas was sworn to by Miss Nellie Tomeln. a crippled girl, who alleges that the Greek followed her about town and frightened ber by his pocullar actions. ac-tions. She testified that tho man had been following her for about two weeks, "He followed rne about for nearly two weeks," she said. "No matter where I went ho would be ther, too. Testifying In his own behalf, tho Greek denied that be bad boon following fol-lowing Miss Tomsln'or any other woman wo-man in Ogden. He stated tnat If ho happened to be walking behind Miss Tomsin It was done unintentionally uninten-tionally and that he meant no harm. He was surprised when the court fined blm $25. |
