Show j NOTICE TO WATER USERS. ! State Engineer's office. Salt Lake City. Utah, June 14th, 1910. Notice is hereby given that the Ore gon Short Line Railroad Company, by its chief engineer, William Ashton. whoso postofflce address Is Salt Lake City, Utah, made application In accordance ac-cordance with the requirements of j Chapter 10S, Session Laws of Utah, j 1901, to appropriate ten (10) cubic j feet per second of water, which rises in Sand RiJge Cut on the Oregon I Short Line Railroad in Weber Coun- ty. Utah. Said water was to havo been collected in a basin, which is situated at a point 2,000 feet west and 1,935 feet north of the eoutoeast corner of Section 31, Township ' (i north, Range 1 west. Salt Lake base and meridian, from where It was to ! have been conveyed by means of a 1 pipe line for a distance of 6,000 feet and there used from January 1 to December 31, inclusive, of each year, lor general railroad purposes. Said application was approved by the State Engineer, March 14. 1907, and two 1 years allowed for tho completion of j the works necessary for the appropriation appro-priation of said water as contemplate ! ed by said application. The time has f-'neo been extended to September 1, j 1909. Said Oregon Short Line Rall-I Rall-I road company, by its chief engineer, j William Ashton, now makes application appli-cation In accordance with the requirements re-quirements of Section 1288x24, Chapter Chap-ter 62, Sosslon Laws of Utah, 1909, to change the point of diversion of said water, by conveying it to tho Weber River through an open ditch, for a distance of 1,650 feet and allow it to flow down the natural channel of said river, to a pojnt wh!ch boors north 32 degrees east 425 feet distant from the southwest corner of Section 29, Township 6 north, Range 1 west. Salt Lake base nnd meridian. From this point the water will be diverted and conveyed by means of a pumping plant and two six-inch enst iron pipes, for a distance of 125 feet and there used during the period and for the purpose above specified. The application appli-cation was designated In tho Slate Engineer's office as No, 1U05. All protests against the granting of said change of point of diversion, stating the reasons therefor, must be made by affidavit in duplicate and filed in this office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication pub-lication of this notice.
